EXODUS ANNUAL REPORT
My objective was to design a web site that incorporated an intuitive navigational system while maintaining the established look and feel of the printed document. I started comping for the site before the final Annual Report was printed, so creative use of provided elements was necessary.

The home page is a fusion of the front and back covers of the document, allowing for all of the imagery to be seen on a medium lacking a "back cover." JavaScript was used to activate a unique mouse-over effect that played with a simulated transparency and layering on the page.

The printed cover featured numerous quotes from industry analysts. In order to communicate effectively without any scrolling, I designed a 'slide show' of quotes with a user-activated prompt for loading the next sequential quote.

Another issue that was important to the client was the printability of the web document. While they wanted it optimized for 800x600 screen viewing, they also wanted all of the content to print nicely with default settings on any web browser. I devised a table structure that allowed for contraction of content areas, but also visual expansion for higher screen resolutions.
